It’s believed there was a Ferrari client from the Middle-East who ordered both a brand-new Ferrari and Lamborghini at the factories. 

As he had children, he wanted of both of the big cars also a junior car. 

After some discussion it was possible to have these built by Agostini. 

The price was almost the same as the original real motorcars. 

After some discussion it was possible to have them built at 50,000 USD each – and Agostini had the right to produce around 20 examples of these junior cars.

These junior cars were immediately sold out and very hard to find nowadays.

This Lamborghini Countach Junior Car is a rare and detailed children’s car built in 1983 by the Agostini Auto company in Italy, which is renowned for its miniature working replicas of other iconic sports cars, such as the Porsche 911, the Ferrari F40 and the Ferrari 308 GT.

Each Junior car is lovingly handmade, taking in excess of 450 hours to craft.

Fiberglass body, steel frame and equipped with a four-stroke Briggs and Stratton engine, fitted with a 400cc engine couple with an automatic transmission that has two forward speeds plus reverse. 

The body proportions stay as close as possible to the original, so this Lamborghini Countach has a true ‘baby Lamborghini’ appearance. 

The car starts and runs and lights and horn are fully functional.

ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC EXAMPLE

This particular car is believed to be one of around 20 built, and its last owner was an Italian collector in Florence.

It is finished in Blue paintwork that is in superb condition and the Lamborghini motif on the boot lid.

Two 9 or 10 year-olds children can sit side-by-side with ease.

CONDITION EXTERIOR 

The body of the Lamborghini is in a beautiful condition and is certainly restored. As described above, the exact dimensions are taken from the real Lamborghini which results in a beautiful shape.

The wheels, windows, rubbers etc. are all in a very nice condition.

CONDITION INTERIOR 

The interior is in a beautiful beige upholstery.

The little Momo steering wheel looks close to the original Lamborghini item, and the dash top design and offset footwells aren’t too far off either. 

The little gear shift lever selects forward or reverse.

DRIVING EXPERIENCE

This Lamborghini Countach by Agostini is a terrific scaled-down replica of an iconic Lamborghini, which is presented in beautiful condition and is ready to enjoy. 

Far from being just a fantastic children’s car, this Countach is also a great collector’s item, and would not be out of place among genuine full-size examples.
