The AC Ace Bristol is a legendary sports car that was produced by AC Cars Limited from 1956 to 1962. It was a beautiful and powerful car that became famous for its combination of British engineering and American power.

At the heart of the Ace Bristol was a 2.0-liter, six-cylinder engine that was designed and built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company. This engine was based on the BMW 328 engine and was modified by Bristol to produce more power. With 125 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque, the Ace Bristol was able to achieve a top speed of 116 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 9.1 seconds.

The Ace Bristol’s chassis was designed by John Tojeiro, who was famous for his work with racing cars. The car’s body was made of hand-formed aluminum panels that were riveted to a steel frame. This gave the Ace Bristol a lightweight yet strong body that was perfect for racing.

The AC Ace Bristol was a successful race car, winning its class at Le Mans in 1959 and placing well in other international races. But it was also a beautiful and stylish car that was popular with celebrities and wealthy car enthusiasts.

The left-hand drive AC Ace-Bristol offered here was manufactured on the 19th of June 1959. The car was first delivered to a client in Venezuela, Mr. Jack Fernandex.

This AC Ace remained in Venezuela up until 1989, before being imported to a new custodian in Italy.

In Italy the AC benefit from a very impressive restoration which has been finished in a later stadium in Belgium.

The optical and technical aspects of the car have been all restored including a complete engine rebuilt.

Exterior wise, the AC is in a beautiful condition. Pictures in the history file show a complete bare metal / stripped but very good looking body. The entire body including the chrome has been restored.

The body restoration resulted in perfect door / body gaps and a beautiful shining paint

The green metallic paint shines beautifully in the sunlight and has a very deep shine.

All the chrome on the car looks immaculate.

This particular example has been meticulously restored and after the restoration cared for, resulting in a stunning visual and driving experience that we personally prefer for our own vehicles.

The details of the bodywork are noteworthy, from the gentle curves to the precise fittings of the doors, boot, and bonnet, all of which look very nice.

Comparable with the exterior is the interior. The interior is equally nice with high quality leather in a beautiful color which combines very well with the exterior.

The beautiful brown leather seats look extremely nice and show no signs of wear or any other kind of damages.

The car retains all of its original meters, knobs, and gauges, which are not only in perfectly operational condition but also visually appealing.

Driving this AC Ace is an absolutely delightful experience.

While all AC cars are enjoyable to drive, this particular model stands out due to its more powerful Bristol engine. The extra power of 20 hp gave that extra thrill, ensuring that every aspect of its operation delivers the utmost in driving pleasure.

This AC is a rare find having the desirable Bristol engine and the left hand steering.
